Prana Vashya Primary Series comprises of 60 well curated asanas which are performed in a particular sequence, and uses Prana Vashya Vinyasa Krama in between specific Asanas for continuity, and to ensure attention to breathing.
The Primary series is open to practitioners of all levels. An experienced practitioner who is flexible and gets into postures can join the Pranavashya sequence to get the alignment, mobility and breathing even better. A beginner with a lesser flexibility and command over the body who finds it hard to perform all the postures can benefit from specific variations in alignment, which will help in developing flexibility and awareness of their physical capabilities within a short period of time.
Once the practitioner gains better control over posture, flexibility and breath, the practitioner can progress on to the Prana Vashya Secondary Series to ensure continuity of practice and enhance the knowledge of Yoga.
Acharya Vinay Kumar does not discriminate between any style of Yoga practice. He appreciates the knowledge and approach of different styles of Asana practice. He is of the firm belief that is not the style but the dedication, approach, stimuli and the understanding between the practitioner and the teacher that brings about the best results.

The Prana Vashya Yoga Shala aims at developing asana practitioner into a Yoga practitioner by motivating them to continue practicing Pranayama in their regular routine along with the Yogasana.
The journey of a practitioner has the Yoga Asana at its core. This is based on the belief that dedication and regular practice will enhance the physical capabilities such as awareness, flexibility, and control. This is far from the truth. While the development of the physical form is indeed a known benefit of the Yoga Asana, but a true practitioner goes beyond the physical awareness and explores the vastness of the mind. When the practitioner wants to experience his existence beyond the physical limits, the practice of Pranayama helps him on the scared path. Regular practice of Pranayama helps in developing the control over the myriad thoughts and patterns by learning to control the mind.
At Prana Vashya Yoga Shala, the practitioner can choose between the introduction or the foundation to Pranayama, and the intense or advanced techniques of Pranayama.
Acharya Vinay Kumar is a renowned exponent of the Pranayama and is one of the most sought-after teachers. He shares his experience of over 21 years with his students so they too can benefit from the Pranayama techniques.
The Shala aims to provide each practitioner a strong foundation, and to create an awareness about the importance and application of breathing techniques (that help in increasing the Pranic energy levels), which are an integral part of the practitioner’s journey on the path of Yoga.
It has been proven that the practice of Pranayama techniques helps in maintaining the desired energy levels in practitioners, or people who are engaged in intense physical activities daily, such as practicing twice a day or doing some heavy physical work.

Spine enhancement and flexibility:
The practitioner learns to perform advanced and demanding postures with increased flexibility and ease. The unique and highly specialized technique of therapeutic exercises provide a safe yet dynamic development in flexibility and back bending.
The Back Bending course does not have a set sequence of Asanas, it is focuses on the practitioners’ requirements, capabilities on an individual basis. Each practitioner is given a sequence to reduce muscle rigidity and increase flexibility. The key being that the practitioner is allowed to relax in between asanas to feel its full impact. Advanced postures are broken down to suit each practitioner’s need, and as a result, the overall practice gets enhanced greatly.
Acharya Vinay Kumar’s back bending techniques are very well known to reduce stress and help in increasing the oxygen levels in the body.
Muscle Strengthening and Development:
These techniques work on developing the core which is vital and ensures consistency in form, posture and structure while doing the Asanas. This practice enhances the awareness of the position and movement of the body, which in turn helps the practitioner stay focused, and prepares them to perform the balancing postures with ease. The techniques taught by Acharya Vinay Kumar are also used as therapies for those who suffer from joint instability or have muscle injuries.

Teacher's Apprenticeship Course
Prana Vashya Primary Series
Prana Vashya Yoga Shala has developed a special package of an Apprenticeship Course, which serves as a prerequisite for authorising a practitioner as a Prana Vashya Yoga Teacher. The Shala believes that only a practitioner who has undergone various experiences, development, and benefits will be capable of accumulating knowledge about the practice. And only then he or she will be capable of sharing the knowledge according to the requirements of the subject and not merely instructing according to the theory that was received in a certification course. The vision of Prana Vashya Yoga Shala is to create many leaders on the path of Yoga practice, and the objective of Vinay Ji is to provide quality teachers to the world.

Las Palmas is very ‘local’, but at the same time an important hub for digital nomads and remote workers. Fast Internet, co-working spaces, great surf directly at Playa de las Canteras and a stable climate all year round.
Location Milan
